Background & Education:
For 30 years, I have developed writing expertise and business experience from a variety of professional and educational perspectives. Since 2007, I have been the proud owner of All About Writing; prior to starting my own business, I cultivated writing knowledge and skills through my previous careers in the insurance, legal, education, and small-business sectors.
I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Monmouth University as a highest ranking degree recipient and completed my bachelor’s degree at Drew University as a magna cum laude graduate and English major/ writing minor. In addition, I hold a NJ teacher’s certification with advanced standing (K-12), with content specialization in English.
Beyond my professional capacities, it has been my pleasure to serve my community as an involved member of the Howell Chamber of Commerce, coordinator of the Howell Municipal Alliance for substance abuse prevention/mental health awareness, and essay/oratorical contest chair for the Howell Optimist Club.
It was an honor to be selected as the Howell Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year for 2019. In 2013, I proudly received a Proclamation from the Howell Township mayor and town council for launching the Prevention Press, the Howell Alliance’s community substance abuse prevention newsletter, in publication since 2009.
Although I truly enjoyed each of my careers, all of which involved my passion for writing in one way or another, I wanted the challenge and freedom starting and owning a business would provide.
All About Writing allows me to use my writing skills and professional experiences while helping others achieve their goals, which is rewarding and fulfilling on many levels.
What better way to live out my dream than doing what I enjoy most–and do best–while assisting people along their journeys to success!
